The design of this accent chair is mainly inspired by a peony flower. Peony flowers come in a lot of biological species and a diverse range of varieties. Peonies also come in different colors but the idea for this design concept started from the symbolism of white peonies which is shyness. White peonies also symbolize purity, innocence, shame, and apology, which makes these flowers suitable for different occassions. The next inspiration came from the idea of bringing home peonies and putting them inside a vase filled with some water and waiting for or being welcomed by fully-bloomed peonies the next morning along with its amazing fragrance. Combining all of these, the chair is designed with an element of surprise by using a swivel system for the legs of the chair and two layers of the combined backrest and seat.
