Founded in 1986, Prizmic and Brill (P&B) is a manufacturer of campaign furniture — items designed to break down for ease of travel. Our craft draws from a rich tradition that dates back to the time of Julius Caesar and was popularized by British Army officers in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. However, although our furniture may indeed be packed up and carried in marches, they are destined not for the battlefield, but for the finest hotels, resorts, country clubs, and homes. Our furniture sits at the crossroads of tradition and modernity, and in every item is a delicate balance between luxury and utility.
Our greatest asset lies not only in our craft, but also in our craftspeople. We operate out of a 7,000 square meter facility in Pampanga — home to an arts and crafts tradition dating back to the Spanish conquest. We draw our creative roster from a province with historical industries in pottery (kuran), carved woodcrafts (dukit), metal works (pukpuk), and wooden and paper star lanterns (parul). All 180 of our craftspeople, not to mention our subcontract network of over 200 people, have been raised in this rich cultural milieu.
We proudly display these works in our flagship retail store in Greenbelt 5, Makati City, Manila. Although we are an exporter first and foremost, we maintain this shop to service our domestic market, which continues to grow at a staggering pace.
